WE ARE HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE PARTICIPATION OF RAD24 REBEKAH DEAN,  MONIKA TOBEL and ZOEY HART the DUO selected is MOSSS

Rebekah Dean
a London based artist and former BKN artist in the program WAP23, was invited to be part of RAD24 and she was asked to appoint one artist to a studio for RAD24.  We are happy to announce the participation of Monika Tobel a London based artist from Hungary.  >>>

BKN artists Zoey Hart (remote participation) is a New York based artist. Hart will provide sessions on softness and radical care. Hart has worked with BKN two times prior to this program.   Ami Skånberg and Anna Viola Hallberg are two of four on site artists. The group will host share sessions in addition to carry out their individual work.

Hanna Grandert will join a number of weekends during the winter and spring.


STUDIO GRANT: AiR BKN
DEVELOPMENT FEE/MEMBERSHIP: 600 sek paid by artist to BKN.

ARTIST TALK  and/or  OPEN STUDIO at BKN

ARTISTS are responsible for their own travel costs, food and material etc
SUPERMARKET ART FAIR, your work (or part of ) will be considered to represent BKN as part of the curated exhibition "Boogieland" at the art fair in Stockholm spring of 2024

HOST/VENUE
BKN is an artist run not for profit organisation with a focus on Fair Studios, a concept with the artist in focus, towards a responsible social/economic/environmental imprint.
BKN provides an opportunity to within the stay, focus on the artistic practice and experience life in the Northern Archipelago of Stockholm - where the sea meets the forest, fields, and lakes - a peaceful rural milieu. BKN is a transformative, dynamic space for art engaging with aspects of life and nature, towards an experience beyond violences such as algorithms, egoism, deforestation, narrow-mindedness, repression.
BKN fosters a peer based environment "thinking together, learning together" this takes part during informal sessions and public outreach. It is a resource and public forum to explore and experiment.
