Kollektivet består av Carl Larsson och Speakerbreather (Adam Ward + Louise Hornberg) från Göteborg.

Kulturkranen blev till under två veckor i slutet av augusti 2021. Verket är en gåva från Conjectirism till BKN. Den står infäst i berget, vertikalen är ett Stenborr från Björkös lokala metallåtervinning andra detaljer kommer också där i från som den halva mospressen. Verket håller även en rad bitar som konstnärerna hade med sig till Björkö.  Delarna är utvalda av konstnärerna för att de som solitärer bar på skönhet och tillsammans bildar de en kran som minner om att tillsammans kan vi mer.  Verkets namn står den också som en sinnebild för,  och hyllning till, konsten som kraft i samhället och med det  BKN som plats för konstnärer och konsten.

En kran bär på symbolvälden för frihet, intelligens, ära, lycka, kungligheter, tur, balans, nåd, prestige och kärlek från modern. Med stöd av färdigheterna att gå, flyga och simma, visar det sitt samband med elementen vatten, känslor och feminin mystik .


Gruppen arbetade även med en rad teckningar, musik samt att med BKN som bollplank lägga strukturen för en konst nod i Göteborg.

Konstnären arbetade huvudsakligen under sin residens period med att laborera med växter och föremål genom fotogram med inriktning mot en bok som kommer att tillkomma vid olika residens runt Östersjön. Formatet för boken påbörjades även under vistelsen vid BKN. I Februari 2022 har konstnären ett residens i Finland det blir det andra i serien.


Verken upptogs i BKNs tillfälliga skulpturpark i augusti 20021. Den 11 augusti genomfördes även eventet HUSMANSKONST (konst och musik på gårdsplanen) då tillkom även verk på det två planken. De fyra konstnärerna hade delivs överlapande residens vid BKN.

THE CRANE
ART WORK: Kulturkranan  (Culture Crane)

The collective consists of Carl Larsson and Speakerbreather (Adam Ward + Louise Hornberg) from Gothenburg.

The culture crane was created during two weeks at the end of August 2021. The work is a gift from Conjectirism to BKN. It is attached to the rock, the vertical is a stone drill from Björkö's local metal recycling, other details also come from there like the half potato-masher. The work holds as well a number of pieces that the artists brought to Björkö. The parts are selected by the artists because they, as solitaires, hold beauty and together they form a crane that reminds us that together we can do more. The work's name also stands as a symbol of, and homage to, art as a force in society and with the BKN as a place for artists and art. A crane carries the symbolic power of freedom, intelligence, honor, happiness, royalty, luck, balance, grace, prestige and love from the mother. With the support of the skills of walking, flying and swimming, it shows its connection with the elements of water, emotions and feminine mystery.

The group also worked with a number of drawings, music and with BKN as the sounding board to lay the structure for an art node in Gothenburg.

The artist worked mainly during his residency period with working with plants and objects through photograms focusing on a book that will be added at various residences around the Baltic Sea. The format for the book was also started during the stay at BKN. In February 2022, the artist has a residence in Finland, it will be the second in the series.

The works were included in BKN's temporary sculpture park in August 20021. On 11 August, the event HUSMANSKONST (art and music at the courtyard) then works were also added on the two planks. The four artists had overlapping residences at BKN.
